Radio
BBC World Service
can be received on digital FM 90.2 and Satellite Hot Bird 2-13º
East.

The main BBC stations
and other English-language radio can also be received via many satellite TV
installations or over the Internet. Previously broadcast programmes can often be
listened to again or downloaded.
Voice of America is also
available online and via shortwave.
Radio y Televisión Española
(RTVE) is a state-owned multi-media company that provides an English-language
radio broadcast Monday through Friday. Programmes are also re-broadcast at the
weekend.

Radio on the Internet
Many international radio stations are available streamed live on the Internet.
Radio on the Costa de la Luz
Currently there are no English-language radio stations broadcasting on the Costa de la Luz. However, there are various radio broadcasts from Gibraltar and neighbouring Costa del Sol, which can be accessed via the Internet.
- All That Jazz: An Internet radio station based in Marbella. This station is owned and operated by Brian Parker,
a jazz musician who has played with Lionel Hampton and other famous jazz musicians.
- Central FM: English-language radio station broadcasting to the Costa del Sol, Tarifa and Algeciras.
The station plays classic rock and contemporary music, with chat, interviews and regional and national news (98.6 FM, 103.8 FM). Also available
streaming on the internet.
- Coastline Radio station (97.6 FM)
covering the Costa Tropical and Costa del Sol. Broadcasts music, news and weather, competitions and interviews 24-hours a day.
- Global Radio: Dance and R&B music with
English-language programmes. Listeners from Nerja to Gibraltar can listen live on 96.5FM.
Also available online.
- Spectrum FM: Station
(105.5 FM) broadcasting 70s, 80s and 90s music and some Spanish music. Also available
streaming on the internet.
- Wave 96 FM:
English-language station playing rock and pop music.
Television
It is possible to access UK-based free-to-air (FTA) programming on the same satellite that broadcasts Sky Digital. Please
note however, that there is no legal way to access encrypted programming on that satellite while in Spain (such as Sky Digital's premium channels accessible only through a Sky subscription package, or those channels that may only be watched in the UK using a satellite receiver with a free-to-view
[FTV] card installed).

Print
Local print publications in English include the following:

The
Olive Press: A print and internet publication featuring news from
Spain, with an Andalucia section including news from Huelva and Cádiz
provinces. Distributed every other Wednesday.

Sur in English: Weekly publication issued on Friday with community and Spanish news, columns and a large classified ad section. Available at news stands and
online as well as by subscription.
Most major international daily and weekend newspapers from the UK, US and
Germany are available at many news stands, usually on the day following
publication.
